Author Talks and Writing Workshops with Anne Perry
"We thought Anne was fantastic and are so pleased that she could take part in our first festival. The workshop in the afternoon was extremely interesting and all people attending really enjoyed it."
Sara Dennis, Middlesbrough Library
"Thanks very much for your email, I'm glad Anne enjoyed it and perhaps you could pass on some of the comments we received on our evaluation forms, which show the audience really appreciated her coming to North Shields:"
Ruth Walton, North Tyneside Library
"would you pass on our many thanks to Anne for such a great day last week, both for the afternoon workshop at Chesterfield Library and the evening talk at Old Whittington Library. I hope she felt that both went well as we believe they did from the comments people made on their evaluation sheets."
Elaine Glenwright, Derbyshire Libraries.
"Thank you for organising Anne's visit to our Crime Day on Saturday. And please pass on our thanks to Anne too - feedback from the day tells us that the audience enjoyed her talk."
Kate Wilkinson, Sneinton Library
"The evening went smoothly and everyone enjoyed Sara's talk. We had an audience of 14 and, of those that handed in an evaluation form, all said that they enjoyed this event and most would attend other events at the library. Some also said that they had not been to library events before and were not library members (which is always a bonus for us)."
Miriam Palfrey, Reading Library
"Could you pass on my sincere thanks to Anne for such a wonderful afternoon and evening. The feedback has been great for both events. One lady wrote about the evening, 'excellent, she speaks as interestingly as she writes. As a fan of Anne Perry's books, I found this a most interesting and enlightening talk' while another lady wrote, 'one of the best talks I've been to'. A comment from the afternoon was, 'wonderful, so interesting' and these are only a couple of the comments but these express the same feelings. Again thanks."
Sandra Seamark, Gillingham Library
“The event went really well and Sara Delphi was very popular. People gave me really good comments about her talk. I must say, the room was packed (yes we did have to go on a chair hunt which is always good!) I thought it was a very good turnout for an afternoon event and I’m really pleased with how it all turned out.”
Sara Dennis, Middlesbrough Library
“It went really well. About 96 all together a good night and Sara Delphi was great.”
Pauline Martin, South Tyneside Library
